GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS

It is one thing to say you are a Christian and another to live your life as a Christian. Ask yourself whether you are going through the motions or are you taking action in your life to show Christ. I admit I do things and say things and then after the fact I realized that I did not act like a Christian. Sometimes when we catch ourselves just going through motions we have a choice, we can either go oh well and laugh it off, or we can look at it as a wakeup call and choose to change. Remember you may fall, but you can pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep trying. As young Christians, I hope you choose to live your life as the scripture for Ignite, "Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young. But set an example to the believers through your speech, behavior, love, faithfulness, and purity." 1 Timothy 4:12

 ETHIX

If you haven't gotten your copy of Ethix, come by the Youth room and get yours ASAP. We will be reading chapters 3-7 this month.

In chapter 2, we discussed being moral in an immoral society. WE can't by ourselves, but GOD can empower us with the Holy Spirit through prayer, studying God's Word and applying it to our lives, surrounding ourselves with other believers, and limiting our intake of secular (worldly) media. By using these tools in our lives, we WILL be able to be moral people in an immoral society.

CAMP TANAKO

The time has come to make plans for Camp Tanako this summer! St. Paul will once again be paying 1/2 of your camp registration fee. Brochures are available at the Welcome Center. If you are interested in more information, please see Jeremy.
